CRSI's Annual Training is made up of several individual training modules. Each module is completed within the Relias Learning website. Here's how Annual Training is done:
- Start by logging into the Relias portal.
- If this is your first time logging into Relias, Relias: Logging In and Changing your Password can help you with the process.
- If you have logged in but are unsure of your password, Relias: Resetting a Password can help you with the reset.
- Once logged in, Relias should take you to the screen that shows your CRSI Annual Training Plan. If you are a Supervisor, go to the top right toggle from Supervisor to Learner. On the iPad, this icon looks like three bars. On a computer, it is in a drop-down box.
- You will know when you are in Learner Mode when you see the CRSI Specific Annual Training listed. Each of the modules that make up Annual Training will be listed. These can be done in any order and your progress is remembered. Tap/click on the green Take Now button to start any of the modules.
- Once you’ve selected one of the modules, you are directed to the content of that specific module. The content is in a video format. The longer sections of Annual Training (Crisis Intervention and UI/MUI) are broken into multiple videos. Each module will also have an exam and a short evaluation at the end of it. Everything other than the first content video is greyed out on this screen because you must start with the videos and do steps in order within module. Tap/click the green Start button to begin the video.
- IMPORTANT: Video content on the iPad shows up in a separate browser window and is not immediately visible on the iPads. You must tap Relaunch and look for the grey tab top of the screen on iPads that says Relias on Vemeo. Do not tap Next.
- At this point, you will see the video window and you will need to click the Start Video command at the bottom left corner to begin the video.
- When the video ends, you will need to move on to the next step. Go back to your module by clicking the Relias – Champaign Residential Services, Inc. tab at the top of the screen.
- For those modules that contain more than one video, you see that the one you have watched already is in blue now. Relias knows you’ve completed this one and it is now just available if you need to review it again. Move on to the next video by tapping/clicking the green Start button and repeat steps 5-7 shown above.
- Continue this process until all content in the module is complete. Now you are ready to take the brief Final Exam. Tap/click the Start button next to Final Exam to begin.
- You will now be presented with instructions on how to take the exam. Review the instructions and tap/click the Continue button to begin the exam.
- You will be presented with a series of questions and are required to answer all questions. Tap/click the Next button to go to the next question. Save and quit allow you to back out of the exam and go back and review your content prior to moving on with the exam.
- When you get to the last question of the exam you will also see the attestation statement in red lettering. Answer the last question and checkmark the attestation statement making a legal statement that you have actually reviewed all content in the module, then tap/click the Submit button.
- This will take you to a summary of your exam results. View and tap/click the Continue button.
- After you have completed the exam, Relias Learing will ask your opinion on the content provided in the module. Give your response to these three questions, then check the statement in red lettering verifying that you are the person who took this training under your log-in. Tap/click the Submit button to complete.
- This will lead you back to your training plan where you can continue the modules until all assigned modules in the Annual training plan are complete. When you are at 100% compliance, you will then take steps to get your Relias transcript printed so it can be forwarded to HR.
- From an iPad - The Print Transcript options you are presented will not work from CRSI iPads. Your supervisor will have access to your transcript through Relias. Alert them that you are finished with Annual Training and they can pull your transcript.
- From a Computer - Click the green Print Transcript button. Give these printed transcripts to your supervisor or to your regional HR representative.
