Welcome to CRSI! We're excited that you've decided to join our team! To get you started on your road to success, you will complete the onboarding process inside our HR system, Paycor.

Setting up a Paycor Account
Special Note: If you are an existing or former employee, these instructions do not pertain to you. Instead, see Paycor: Register for an Account.
- To begin, you should have received an email from Paycor with a link. Click/tap that link to go to the Paycor website.
- Fill in the boxes with your Language preference, last name, and a functioning email address.
The Access Code field should have been filled in automatically. If you don't have an Access Code, please reach out to your HR Specialist and we will resend you the email with a new link. Once done, click/tap Next. - Create a username and password and check the two boxes agreeing to electronic communications and the End User License Agreement. Once done, click/tap Next.
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is crucial to the security of your information. Therefore, MFA is required for all employees at CRSI. Select the option that works best for you and complete the setup process. Once done, click/tap Save & Continue.
- In addition to MFA, Paycor will ask you to set up four personal Security Questions. Select your questions from the list and provide your answers in the boxes to the right. These answers are case sensitive so be sure to answer them the same way you would type them. Once done, click/tap Complete Registration.
Filling Out Your Personal Information
Now that you have a Paycor account established, it's time to fill out the paperwork our HR team needs before your first day of training.
- On the Welcome screen, click/tap Next: Personal.

On the Personal screen, fill in all fields that have a red asterisk (*)next to them. When entering your legal first and last name, these must be your legal name as it appears on your Social Security card. If you prefer to be called something other than your legal first name, enter that in the First Name field. Once done, click/tap Next: Contact.

On the Contact screen, fill in all fields that have a red asterisk (*)next to them. Once done, click/tap Next: I-9 Verification.
Completing the I-9 Form
Federal law requires employers like CRSI to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all new employees. We collect this information on a form called the I-9.
- Answer the asterisked questions and your answers will be recorded on the Federal I-9 form. Once done, click/tap Save & Continue.

Look over and verify all the information on the I-9 Review page is correct. If it is, enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number and type your name in the boxes below. Once done, click/tap Sign & Continue.
- At this point, you've completed Section 1 of your I-9. The HR team will fill out Section 2 of the I-9 form on your first day of New Hire Training. Click/tap Next: Direct Deposit.
Direct Deposit Information
Here at CRSI, your paycheck will be automatically deposited into your bank account on each payday.
- Enter your bank's routing number, your account number and what type of account (checking/savings, etc.) in the fields provided. Once you're done, click/tap Next: Tax Setup.
NOTE: If you do not have a bank account, click the Skip Direct Deposit link at the bottom of the page and let your HR Specialist know. They can suggest alternative direct deposit methods.
Federal Tax Forms
Each employee must complete the necessary tax forms so our Payroll team knows how much Federal income tax to withhold from our paycheck. The next few screens will guide you through this process and create a digital version of your W-4 form.
- On the Tax Setup Tool screen, click/tap Launch Tax Setup.
- Verify your address information is correct on the screen and click/tap Start.
- Paycor will use the address information from the previous screen and present you with a list of tax forms that must be filled out for your location. Click/tap Continue to begin.
- Make your selection from the available options and click/tap Continue.
- Assuming you selected the option to Continue in English or Espanol, you'll be prompted to start filling out your W-4. Click/tap the Start link.
- Select whether or not you are a nonresident alien, then click/tap Continue.
- Most people are not exempt from Federal income tax withholding, but if you are, you have the option to select that here. Make your selection, then click/tap Continue.
- Select your filing status and click/tap Continue.
- Select what tool you would like to use to estimate the amount of Federal income tax to be withheld from your paycheck. Make your selection and click/tap Continue.
- Select if you have any dependents and click/tap Continue.
- You have the option to withhold additional Federal income tax from every paycheck. If that is something you would like to do, select yes. Otherwise, select No and click/tap Continue.
- Review all information on the screen. When you're sure that everything is correct, check the box and click/tap Submit Form.
- The next page will let you know that the form has been submitted. Click/tap Continue.
State & School District Tax Forms
Each employee must complete the necessary tax forms so our Payroll team knows how much State income tax to withhold from our paycheck. The next few screens will guide you through this process and create a digital version of your forms.
- Click/tap the Start link on the Tax Setup Tool to complete your State tax forms.
- Enter your School District Name and Number in the boxes provided. If you are unsure of the name or number of your school district, you can look this up on the State of Ohio's website here: https://thefinder.tax.ohio.gov/StreamlineSalesTaxWeb/AddressLookup/LookupByAddress.aspx?taxType=SchoolDist. Once this is filled out, click/tap Continue.
- Most people are not exempt from State or School District income tax withholding, but if you are, you have the option to select that here. Make your selection, then click/tap Continue.
- Read each line carefully and fill out lines 1, 2, 3, and 5 as they pertain to you. When finished, click/tap Continue.
- Review all information on the screen. When you're sure that everything is correct, check the box and click/tap Submit Form.
- When you see this screen, you'll know that you're done with the tax setup portion of your onboarding process. Click/tap Next: Additional Information to continue to the next step.
Additional Information
On the next screen, select the county you'll be working in and whether or not you're part of the Union. Click/tap Next: Documents to continue to the next step.
- If you are working in multiple counties, select the one that you'll be working in the most.
- If you are unsure about the Union, select No for now and your HR Specialist will make adjustments after you have finished the onboarding process.
Documents
- Start by clicking the Setup Electronic Signature button at the top of the page.
- Enter your legal first and last name (as it appears on your Social Security Card) in the box then click/tap the I Agree, Save button. Be aware that adding an electronic signature to any document is the same as a physical signature on paper and therefore a binding representation of your acknowledgment.
- Review each document that appears on your screen. Complete any questions asked and add your signature at the bottom of the page. Click/tap the Sign & Continue button to move forward.
- Once you're done with all of the documents, all of the lines will say Completed.
Click/tap Next: Review to continue.
Submitting Your Onboarding
You'll be asked to review your information once you've finished all the steps above. Expand each of the sections, make sure everything is correct, and click/tap Submit Onboarding.
The next screen you see will have the confirmation that your Onboarding paperwork is complete.
